Aljazeera English has launched with a BANG and a new gorgeous website. I'll have more to say about it but for now, you can see a video of the first few minutes of the broadcast here.
A new era in international media has begun, please digg it and link to it.

Thanks for the Heads Up Abdurahman.
That introductory trailer was quite impressive. It was great to see former top BBC News correspondents Mike Hanna and Omar what's-his-name but whatever happened to CNN's Riz Khan? I thought that he went over to the other side as well? You can be proud, very slick and professional look "on air" and the website workover looks good too.
That Reuter's report on Somalia is a hammer. How many Middle Eastern and North African countries are dumping heavy arms and training ICC fighters in Somalia? 10 or 11? Looks as if the TFG is outnumbered, outgunned, and outfinanced by outsourcing.
Wasn't certain which report on Darfur you were talking about as there were several at the new website. Any video on Al Jazeera's correspondent on the ground in Sudan? If so, let me know. Thanks for stopping by my place.
